Sunny and Mild – a day to hear the sea

Today in Cala Rajada the sky is almost cloudless. If you were already along the marina promenade around 9 a.m., you would have heard the small fleet of fishing boats and could smell the sea and freshly brewed coffee. Exactly such a day to kick off your shoes, take a deep breath, and immediately plan a long beach stroll.

How warm is it really?

During the day temperatures move in a very pleasant range: early in the morning they were around 23°C, the day brought values around 25°C. By afternoon it stays mild — ideal to read by the shore or share a piece of tart at the café jetty. Even in the evening it cools only slightly; at about 24°C you can still spend the night well on a terrace.

Wind, air and mood

\n

A light breeze blows from the southeast, just strong enough to dispel stickiness, but not so strong that you must secure the parasols. The air pressure stays stable, humidity is noticeable but not uncomfortable — so no drama for sensitive noses. The cloud cover is near zero, rain is not in sight.

If you plan to go to the beach: don't forget sun protection. And yes, in some spots it smells like grilled fish from the neighbor restaurant — a small trade-off for sea-view ambience.

Tips from the neighbor

A tip from me: Around 5 p.m. the sun softens and the colors along the coast become really nice. If you want to photograph, go for it. For a quick bite, I recommend the small place on the corner of Passeig del Mar — simple menu, good espresso, and the owner loves to tell stories about the town.

In short: Cala Rajada shows its relaxed side today. Sun, sea and a light breeze — it doesn’t get much better for the late summer.
